Frequently asked questions

Do I have to sign a contract?: No. Service is billed month to month, and you can stop at any time. When you cancel, service ends at the end of the current billing month. Fees for the current month are not refunded. The one-time setup fee is fully refundable if you cancel before setup work begins. Once setup work has begun, the setup fee is non-refundable.
How is ad spend paid?: You pay Google and Nextdoor directly, with your own card, in your own accounts. I do not handle or mark up your ad spend. You decide your own ad budget.
Who owns the accounts?: You do. Your Google Business Profile, Google Ads account, and Nextdoor account belong to you. If you stop the service, they stay with you.
Can you promise an outcome?: No. Outcomes vary by industry and location, and they depend on things I do not control, such as the platforms' own systems. I make no promises about rankings, calls, sales, or any outcome.
Are you part of Google or Nextdoor?: No. Solo Local Ads is an independent service. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or Nextdoor.

How do I pay the service fee?: The service fee is billed monthly, in advance, by an invoice sent to your email. The one-time setup fee for the Standard or Plus plan is included on the first invoice. Payment options are shown on the invoice.
What is the free check?: Email your business name, ZIP code, and type of business to [email protected]. I will reply with screenshots of how your business currently appears on Google and Nextdoor. There is no charge and no obligation.
Which businesses do you not take on?: Industries with special advertising restrictions (such as legal, medical, lending, and insurance); adult content, gambling, tobacco, alcohol, cannabis, or any illegal or questionable business; and large companies with multiple locations.
